Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against two individuals.
Felony
Xavier Emanuel Christopher, 24, of Lancaster was charged September 2 with maliciously stabbing, cutting or wounding with the intent to maim, disfigure, disable or kill.
Misdemeanor
A Weems man, 20, was charged August 29 with failure to appear in court on an underlying charge.

September 1: Staff responded to the 7000 block of Mary Ball Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 9000 block of Mary Ball Road for a domestic disturbance, to the 100 block of Reynolds Farm Road for a domestic disturbance, to Shady Lane and Rappahannock Drive for a two-vehicle traffic crash, to the 3000 block of Windmill Point Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to Mary Ball Road for a reckless driver, and to the 100 block of Burnt Wharf Road for gunshots in the late evening hours.
Staff also conducted 31 traffic stops, issued 26 summonses, assisted a motorist, recorded two deer strike accidents, handled two requests for traffic control, investigated five building alarms, processed a mental health order, logged an inmate transport, received 14 E911 hang up calls, and fielded a call for animal control service.
Fire calls
White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to an electrical fire at 953 Johns Neck Road, a vehicle crash at 895 Rappahannock Drive, a fire alarm at 480 King Carter Drive, a vehicle crash at Shady Lane and Rappahannock Drive, and with Kilmarnock VFD to a vehicle fire at 1865 Morattico Road.
Kilmarnock VFD also responded to a vehicle crash at 10947 Mary Ball Road, a carbon monoxide alarm at 185 Pleasants Lane, and a fire alarm at 355 Ditchley Road.
