Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against seven individuals.
Felony
Kristy Summer Thomas, 41, of Weems, was charged October 15 with disregarding a signal by law enforcement to stop; eluding and misdemeanor reckless driving.
Misdemeanors
A Hope Mills, N.C., woman, 31, was charged October 9 with knowingly giving a false report as to the commission of a crime to a law enforcement official with the intent to mislead.
A Townson, Md., woman, 35, was charged October 10 with assault and battery.
An Irvington man, 31, was charged October 11 with driving while intoxicated with a BAC between .15-.20%.
A Weems man, 73, was charged October 9 with failure to appear in Lancaster County General District Court.
A Weems man, 31, was charged October 13 with failure to appear in Lancaster County General District Court.
An Irvington man, 30, was charged October 14 with driving while intoxicated and driving after forfeiture of license.

October 9: Staff responded to Mallard Bay Drive to assist Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office with a robbery, determined to have occurred in Lancaster County; to the 100 block of Highview Drive for a child welfare check, to Windmill Point Road for a reckless driver, and to the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge for debris in the highway.
October 10: Staff responded to the 600 block of Rappahannock Drive for a reckless driver, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a civil complaint, to the 70 block of Peake Road for suspicious activity, to the 1000 block of Cherry Point Drive for a domestic disturbance, and to Mary Ball Road for a traffic complaint.
October 11: Staff responded to the 3000 block of Little Bay Road for check theft and forgery, to the 8000 block of River Road for a civil complaint, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for disorderly conduct, and to the 400 block of Greentown Road for larceny.
October 12: Staff responded to the 1000 block of Cherry Point Drive for suspicious activity, to Old Salem and Mary Ball roads for a vehicle crash, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road to assist Virginia State Police on a traffic stop, to the 100 block of Club View Drive for the illegal dumping of trash, to Pinckardsville and Mary Ball roads for a suspicious person, to the 2000 block of Ocran Road for a neighbor dispute, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a civil complaint, and to the 80 block of Split Oak Lane for suspicious activity.
October 13: Staff responded to the 800 block of Nuttsville Road for a trespass complaint, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for an assault, to the 100 block of North Main Street for a fight, and to Fleets Bay Road for a disabled vehicle.
October 14: Staff responded to the 30 block of Brook Lane for a verbal disagreement, to the 90 block of Shipyard Lane for check theft and forgery, to the 70 block of Castle Lane for a civil complaint, to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a civil complaint, to the 200 block of Richtown Road for suspicious activity, and to Mary Ball and Old Salem roads for a vehicle hit and run.
October 15: Staff responded to the 700 block of Coxs Farm Road for trees down blocking the highway, to the 200 block of Pinckardsville Road for legal advice, and to the 90 block of Western Branch Road for a single-vehicle crash.
Staff also conducted 15 traffic stops, issued 10 summonses, recorded a deer strike accident, investigated 11 building alarms, logged two inmate transports, received three E911 hang up calls, and fielded a call for animal control service.

The White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to a carbon monoxide alarm on Tom Morris Drive.
