Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported felony charges against Devon Lee Napier, 35, of White Stone for failure to appear in Circuit Court on a felony offense.

April 18: Staff responded to the 100 block of Washington Street for a domestic assault, to the 10500 block of Jessie duPont Memorial Highway for vandalism of a vehicle, to the 2200 block of Weems Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, and to the 400 block of North Main Street to assist Kilmarnock Police Department (KPD) with a domestic disturbance.
April 19: Staff responded to a walk-in report of a stolen/missing .380 caliber Hi-Point semi auto handgun that occurred at the 100 block of Chestnut Grove Road, to the 400 block of Johns Neck Road to assist emergency medical services (EMS) with entry into a residence, to the 100 block of Irvington Road for a large structure fire that resulted in a death, to the 400 block of Mulberry Creek Road for an unattended death, to the 100 block of Cypress Lane for an unattended death, to Sandlin and Ice House drives for a four wheeler on the public roadway, and to a walk-in report of identity theft.
April 20: Staff responded to the 9500 block of Jessie duPont Memorial Highway to assist EMS with an unresponsive patient, to a walk-in report of trespassers that occurred at the 500 block of Mosquito Beach Lane, to the 9500 block of River Road for a suspicious person, to the 5400 block of Mary Ball Road for a two-vehicle accident on private property, to the 100 block of Lancaster Creek Drive for suspicious activity, to the 100 block of Havenwood Lane for gunshots in the evening hours, and to a walk-in report of credit card fraud that occurred in White Stone.
April 21: Staff responded to the 1800 block of Iberis Road for a civil issue concerning the ownership of a box trailer, to Mary Ball Road and Avis Trail for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 800 block of Mosquito Point Road to assist a utility company worker with entry into a property, to the 3200 block of White Chapel Road for a verbal disagreement, to the 11100 block of Mary Ball Road for building materials blocking the roadway, to Mary Ball and Fleets Bay roads for a single-vehicle traffic crash, and to the 4600 block of Mary Ball Road for a burglary in progress.
April 22: Staff responded to the 500 block of Pinckardsville Road for a sudden death, to vandalism to a dwelling in the 1100 block of Ocran Road, and to the 200 block of Old Fairgrounds Way to assist KPD with a disorderly person.
April 23: Staff responded to the 100 block of Reynolds Farm Road for a domestic assault, to the 1300 block of Irvington Road for a suspicious person, to the 500 block of Wilson Lane for a disorderly person, to the 500 block of Hoecake Road for suspicious activity, and to the 300 block of Johns Neck Road for a disorderly person.
April 24: Staff responded to the 1300 block of Weems Road for trespassers, to the 11600 block of Mary Ball Road for a domestic disturbance, to the 5400 block of Mary Ball Road for a single-vehicle traffic crash, to the 300 block of Twin Branch Road for juvenile behavior issues, to James Wharf and Newtown roads for an ATV on the roadway, to the 2600 block of Morattico Road for a suspicious person, to Windmill Point Road and Windjammer Lane for a disorderly and intoxicated person, to the 100 block of Ice House Drive to check the welfare of a resident after being alerted by a family member, to the 100 block of Havenwood Lane for a sudden death, to White Chapel and Old Bethel roads for a single-vehicle traffic crash, and to the 900 block of Ocran Road for juvenile behavior issues.
Staff also conducted nine traffic stops, issued seven summonses, assisted two motorists, handled seven calls for traffic control, investigated three building alarms, logged an inmate transport and received 34 E911 hang-up calls.
Fire calls
Kilmarnock, White Stone, Upper Lancaster and Fairfields volunteer fire departments responded to a large structure fire on Irvington Road.
Kilmarnock VFD also responded to a fire/smoke alarm on Shamrock Court.
White Stone VFD also responded to a vehicle fire at Weems and Christ Church roads.
Upper Lancaster VFD also responded to a fire/smoke alarm on White Chapel Road and a traffic crash at White Chapel and Old Bethel roads.
Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp this week reported charges against 12 individuals.
Felonies
Kai Robert Renton, 32, of Heathsville was charged April 14 with obtaining monies for performing a construction job, with an advance and failed to perform such a promise.
Carlos Parker, 23, of Heathsville was charged April 15 with possession of a firearm after being declared a convicted felon. He was served by the Richmond County Sheriffs Office.
Jared Renton, 33, of Heathsville was charged April 17 on a capias to show cause for a felony fail to appear in the Northumberland County Circuit Court. He was served by the City of Richmond Police Department.
Misdemeanors
A Salem man, 32, was charged April 12 with failing to appear in the Salem County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. He was served by the Northumberland County Sheriffs Office (NCSO).
A Lancaster man, 32, was charged April 14 with assault and battery and damaging property.
A Farnham man, 46, was charged April 16 on a capias/attachment of the body for failing to appear in the Northumberland County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
A Lancaster man, 32, was charged April 17 on a capias/attachment of the body for failing to appear in the Richmond County General District Court. He was served by NCSO.
A Hague man, 29, was charged April 18 with a capias/attachment of the body issued from the Stafford County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court for falling to appear in their court for the underlying charge of failing to pay child support. He was served by tNCSO.
A Farnham man, 46, was charged April 22 on capias issued from the Northumberland County Circuit Court for contempt of court and failing to appear. He was held with no bond.
A Heathsville man, 38, was charged April 23 with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving suspended. He also was charged with reckless driving.
A Callao man, 32, was charged April 24 with animal cruelty.
A Callao woman, 33, was charged April 24 with animal cruelty.
