Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against seven individuals.
Felonies
Donte Steffon Sutton, 28, of Lancaster was charged April 29 with possession of forged coin or bank notes and two counts of soliciting another adult to utter or attempt to employ a false, forged, base coin, note or bill knowing it to be false or forged. These were Richmond County Sheriff’s Office warrants.
Tyronne Michael Waddy, 45, of Weems was charged May 1 with revocation of suspension of sentence and probation on a felony offense; revocation of suspension of sentence and probation on the underlying charge of grand larceny; misdemeanor failure to pay restitution on the underlying charge of trespassing; misdemeanor failure to appear for counsel determination on the underlying charge of driving suspended, third offense; and misdemeanor concealing or taking possession of merchandise or altering price tags.
Misdemeanors
A Heathsville man, 27, was charged April 28 with disregarding signal by law enforcement officer to stop; eluding law enforcement; driving a motor vehicle on a highway without having obtained a driver’s license; driving a motor vehicle on the highway at a speed of 72 miles per hour which was in excess of the applicable maximum speed limit of 55 miles per hour; and expired state inspection.
An Irvington woman, 70, was charged April 29 with driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
A Water View woman, 43, was charged April 30 with petit larceny.
A White Stone man, 25, was charged May 1 with failure to appear in court on March 6 on the underlying charge of failure to pay child support.
A Montross woman, 41, was charged May 5 with driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated; refusal to submit breath or blood for chemical test; and reckless driving by driving a motor vehicle on the highway at a speed of 20 miles per hour or more in excess of the applicable maximum speed limit.

April 29: Staff responded to the 100 block of Lancaster Drive for an adult welfare check, to the 900 block of Clark Point Drive for fraud, to the 200 block of Pinckardsville Road for a noise complaint, to Mary Ball and Courthouse roads for a reckless driver, to the 90 block of Harris Road for legal advice, and to the 1300 block of Irvington Road for a suspicious person.
April 30: Staff responded to the 10000 block of Mary Ball Road for an attempted breaking and entering, to the 400 block of Fleets Bay Road for livestock in the highway, and to the 200 block of Lowery Creek Road for an assault.
May 1: Staff responded to the 4000 block of Mary Ball Road for verbal threats, to the 300 block of Lumberlost Trail for an adult welfare check, to the 3 block of Maidley Beach Road for a larceny, and to the 800 block of Windmill Point Road for a two-vehicle traffic crash.
May 2: Staff responded to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a suspicious person, to the 16000 block of Mary Ball Road for destruction of property, and to Mary Ball and Pinckardsville roads for a two-vehicle traffic crash.
May 3: Staff responded to the 600 block of Chesapeake Trail for a domestic disturbance, to the 200 block of Benson Road for legal advice, and to the 18000 block of Mary Ball Road for an adult welfare check.
May 4: Staff responded to the 500 block of Sullavans Road for a juvenile complaint, and to Jefferson Street for trespassing.
Staff also conducted 45 traffic stops, issued 50 summonses, assisted a motorist, recorded two deer strike accidents, handled a request for traffic control, investigated 10 building alarms, processed a mental health order, logged three inmate transports, received six E911 hang up calls, and fielded two calls for animal control service.
Fire calls
Kilmarnock Volunteer Fire Department responded to traffic crashes at 437 North Main Street and on Buff Point Road.
White Stone VFD responded to a traffic crash at 859 Windmill Point Road and a fire alarm at 275 Golf Course Lane.
Upper Lancaster VFD responded to a traffic crash at 1986 Lara Road.
Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp this week reported charges against 11 individuals.
Felonies
Kendall Deion Sutton, 31, of Kilmarnock was charged April 21 with strangulation, causing wounds or injury. He also was charged with assault and battery of a family member.
Shawn Rameek Sorrell, 46, of Jamaica was charged April 30 on a capias/attachment of the body issued by the James City County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court for failing to appear on the original charge of felony abuse and neglect of a child. He also was charged with failing to appear in the Williamsburg/James City County General District Court for the original charge of possession of a Schedule I/II drug.
Jennie Lee Lansberry, 38, of Heathsville was charged May 1 with a capias to show cause on a felony charge of violating her probation.

A Reedville man, 19, was charged April 21 with assault and battery of a family or household member.
A Lottsburg man, 82, was charged April 22 with trespassing.
A Reedville man, 20, was charged April 22 with assault and battery of a family or household member.
A Warsaw woman, 48, was charged April 25 with interfering with property rights of an owner.
A Warsaw man, 31, was charged April 25 on a direct indictment issued by the Northumberland Circuit Court for 11 charges of violating protective orders.
A Reedville woman, 24, was charged April 28 with a capias/attachment of the body issued by the Northumberland County General District Court for failing to appear in their court.
An Idaho man, 27, was charged April 29 with driving under the influence of alcohol.
A Rockville, Md., woman, 55, was charged May 1 with petit larceny of a passport.
