Box office manager Susan Tempest reports brisk ticket sales prior to the Friday, June 7, opening of “The Marvelous Wonderettes” at The Lancaster Playhouse, 361 Chesapeake Drive, White Stone.
Featuring popular hits of the 50s and 60s, the show is a fast-paced, engaging musical featuring heart-break and heart-warming friendships among a 1960s girl group quartet.
Performances are slated at 8 p.m. June 7-8, 13-15 and 20-22, and 3 p.m. June 9, 16 and 23. The theater will open an hour prior to curtain for a social period with cash bar.
Tickets are $30 and available at www.lancasterplayers.org or 435-3776. Groups of 15 receive a 10% discount when tickets are purchased together.
