Signup continues for Polar Bear Plunge

The committee for APYC/YMCA Camp Kekoka recently announced its 15th annual Polar Bear Plunge. 

“Our brave fundraisers will be taking the plunge on January 27 at 10 a.m.,” said resident camp executive director Ana Mae Morrow. “Come cheer on your friends and family!

“Since 2005, Camp Kekoka has been a staple in our communities by providing an enriching overnight camp experience. Even though our campers come from all different walks of like, the heart of their experience never changes. We strive to instill our campers with our character values of ‘Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility,’ while they are making friends and having fun,” said Morrow.

“Last year’s Plunge was extremely successful, and thanks to the tireless efforts of our plungers, and generous donors, we were able to give 110 children an amazing camp….
