Brett Cahoon of Good Shot Judy coaxed Cheryl Hoobler into singing a few words as he moved through the crowd with musicians in tow at the fifth annual Raise the Roof Craft Beer Fest Saturday at Historic Christ Church in Weems. Cahoon was constantly engaging the crowd, coming off the stage and moving through the audience during many of the band’s songs.
The event featured a dozen craft beers represented by Al Pugh Distributing, wine from the Dog and Oyster Vineyard, barbecue from Willaby’s Cafe and Catering, ice cream from Short Lane Ice Creamery and music by Bobby “Blackhat” Walters and Good Shot Judy.
Proceeds support preservation and education programs at Christ Church, Lancaster County’s only National Historic Landmark.
