The Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church mission and service committee on October 11 and 18 will collect bags of apples for neighbors with food insecurity.
Fresh fruit is not always an affordable item for families, said lay pastor Susan May. The apples will be distributed by Kilmarnock Methodist and Kilmarnock Baptist churches.
