St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Fleeton, 3020 Fleeton Road, Reedville, recently announced the appointment of The Reverend Johanna “Joie” Baker Pierce as the new priest-in-charge.
Prior to her appointment at St. Mary’s Fleeton, Rev. Baker Pierce was the chaplain at St. Margaret’s School in Tappahannock; an associate for family ministry and religious teacher at All Saint’s Episcopal Church in Phoenix, Ariz.; an interim pastor at Good Hope and Zion Lutheran Church in Oil City, Pa.; associate pastor for redevelopment at St. Jude’s Mission serving New Castle, Hermitage and Greenville, Pa.; and vicar at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Brookville, Pa.
