MECHANICSVILLE—Stanley Peyton Dawson, 62, passed away on June 11, 2018, at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born and raised in Lancaster County. After graduating from Lancaster High School, he moved to Mechanicsville where he worked as an HVAC technician.
He is survived by his brother, Philip Dawson (Brenda); sisters, Mary Lea (Robert) and Betty Katsilonetes (George) and his nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and Willie Dawson; his wife, Angela Dawson; and brother, Frank Dawson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were handled by Bennett Funeral Home, Mechanicsville.
