Student scientists learn shoreline conservation

Chesapeake Academy seventh and eighth grade science students recently applied their study of marine science in Carter Creek.

The Friends of the Rappahannock led the exercise, including a kayak tour showcasing a variety of conservation practices, said head of school Julianne T. Duvall.
