Student tests positive for COVID-19 at Rappahannock Community College

The Warsaw campus of Rappahannock Community, 52 Campus Drive, Warsaw, has been closed immediately due to a positive test of COVID-19, according to a July 13 press release.

A student attended a science lab on campus from 12:30-3:20 p.m. July 2, but had not been to campus prior, nor was the student on campus the week of July 9, reported director of communications Jeff Macharyas. The student was reported to be asymptomatic, had been wearing a mask and had practiced proper social distancing. There were four other students present, as well as a lab assistant and administrative staff member.
