HEATHSVILLE—Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern (RHHT) in Heathsville recently received a $5,000 grant from the Garden Club of the Northern Neck (GCNN) for landscaping enhancement.
The grant included a landscaping plan designed by garden club member Marguerite Slaughter of Heathsville, reported RHHT executive director Corinne Becker. The plan incorporates historically-appropriate trees, shrubs and flowers that also offer easy on-going care for the Tavern volunteers.
