They’re back! Li’l Ole Opry opens May 1

Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry will open its 46th season of country music shows Saturday, May 1, with an “All Star Opry” featuring the house band, Shades of Country, and all of the Opry singers. 

The show will begin at 7 p.m. at the Abingdon Ruritan Club Fairgrounds, 8784 Guinea Road, Hayes, reported performer and president Lynda Smith. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. Concessions will be provided by the club and no outside food or drink is allowed.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for ages 12 and younger. Tickets can be purchased….
