The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) will host a special “Afternoon at Verville” at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at the home of Ammon G. Dunton Jr. near Merry Point.
The event will feature a traditional, seated afternoon tea service inside the historic house with an array of savory and sweet treats, plus a welcome reception with champagne by the garden and personal tours by Dunton.
Tickets are $70 for LVHS members and $100 for others. Tickets must be purchased in advance. To secure a reservation, call 462-7280.
