The Rappahannock Pistol and Rifle Club on Saturday, September 2, conducted a paper punch pistol competition at the range on Blueberry Point Road near White Stone.
The match consisted of 11 shooters, reported competition officer Creed Fallin. The shooters had four targets set at 7 yards, 10 yards, 25 yards, 10 yards. They shot three sets of two shots per target, with the first set at 12 seconds and the other two sets at 10 seconds making it a total of 24 shots.
Dave Tramutola placed first with a perfect score; Mike Rancourt, second; Robert Becker, third; William Crawford, fourth; and Tom Smith, fifth.
