Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry on Saturday, October 8, will feature William Earl Sadler’s tribute to Ricky Hudgins.
The show will be held at the Harry M. Ward Auditorium, Mathews High School, 9889 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m.
Sadler is a local favorite with an amazing tenor voice and an edgy blues style accompanied by his expertise on the keyboards, reported president Lynda Smith. His show will be a tribute to Hudgins, his long-time bandmate and lead guitar legend.
Also a Mathews native, Hudgins, was a mentor to Sadler….There's more to this story...
