The Northern Neck Family YMCA in Kilmarnock welcomes yoga instructor, Allyson Childress to the team.
Childress is a creative spirit, an artist, adventurer, yoga teacher and lover of life, reported senior operations director Liz Allen. She has been building her personal yoga practice both on and off the mat since 2005 after taking her first yoga class in the community basketball court at the local high school.
Her downward dogs have taken her to Thailand, Kuwait, California and India, where she spent five months completing her 500-Hour yoga teacher training in recognition with the Yoga Alliance.
