
The Town of Irvington is ready to welcome residents, friends and visitors for a full day of patriotic fun and community spirit on Saturday, July 4, as the town comes alive in red, white and blue.
Festivities will begin with the Irvington Farmers Market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Irvington Commons, 98 King Carter Drive, Irvington. Shoppers can enjoy fresh produce, baked goods, artisan crafts and specialty items, reported parade coordinator LuAnne Davis.
The celebration will continue with a concert by Rockfish & the Rivermen from 1-3 p.m.on the porch of the Steamboat Era Museum at the Irvington Commons, 98 King Carter Drive, Irvington, said Davis.
At 3 p.m. Mayor Julie Harris will welcome parade attendees. Former Del. Albert Pollard Jr. of Irvington will serve as the master of ceremonies, she said. The annual Irvington Hometown Parade steps off along….
