Tavern to serve barbecue dinner

Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville, will serve a take-out barbecue dinner from 4-6 p.m. March 6.

Tavern BBQ master Sid Mace will make his “famous lip-smacking pulled pork, BBQ sauce and ‘Jack Daniels’ baked beans,” said executive director Corinne Becker. The meal also comes with Tavern-made potato salad and coleslaw, a bun and brownies for dessert.
