The Lancaster High School junior varsity boys basketball team capped a 16-1 season last Friday with a 16-point victory over Essex.

The Red Devils were the regular season Northern Neck District leaders with an unbeaten 10-0 record in league play. Their only loss—a three-point defeat—came to Class 2 Bruton.

Keyvontrez Bunns scored 17 points to lead nine Lancaster scorers in a 41-25 win in the season final in Tappahannock.

Bunns scored seven points in the first quarter to lead Lancaster’s 15-4 first-quarter run. He put up 11 in the first half to . . . .
