OTTOMAN—Robert Edward “Bob” Walker, 85, of Ottoman passed away on June 9, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton Smith Walker and Virginia Taylor Walker; siblings, Adrian A. Walker, Eugene C. Walker and Frances T. Walker and Peggy Walker Harding.
Bob was a member of Corrottoman Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Bob loved serving the Lord any way he was able to and he deeply loved his church family.
Bob was an Allstate Agent in the Baltimore area for many decades until his retirement.
Bob is survived by his former wife, Gwen Walker; son, Geoffery Walker (Jennifer); daughter, Beth Ann Walker-Bole (Thomas); grandchildren, Robert Bole, Griffiths Walker and Graeme Walker; brother, W. Hobson Walker (Jean); sisters, Carolyn W. Williams and Mary W. Brent; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at Corrottoman Baptist Church and service at 4 p.m. with the Reverend John Seltzer officiating. Internment will follow at Corrottoman Baptist Church Cemetery immediately after the service.
