The Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce recently announced its 2023 award recipients. Sheila Broderick Brown and Jeff Brown were selected Volunteers of the Year; Brad Smith, Businessperson of the Year; and Rev. John Farmer, Dennis W. Burchill Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.
The awards will be presented at the Chamber’s annual meeting and dinner March 1 at the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck Event Center, 517 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
A cocktail hours will begin at 6 p.m., banquet at 7 p.m. with meeting and awards to follow. The theme is “A Roaring Good Time!” Tickets are $75 each and can be purchased at wwwlancasterva.com.
