WHITE STONE—Craig Ray Richardson, 87, of White Stone, passed away on May 28, 2025. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 23, 1937, to the late Ray and Elizabeth Cowie Richardson.
Ray graduated from the University of Maryland and was a retired food broker and owner of two businesses, Richardson & Associates and Richardson & Petkovsek Food Brokers.
He was an avid golfer, wine collector, a longtime Baltimore Colts fan and a lover of English bulldogs.
Ray is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret Ann Richardson; a son, Ray Richardson of Delaware; three grandchildren, Nadia, Craig II and Holly; a brother, Charles Richardson of Westminster, Md.; and his beloved English bulldog, Charlie.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Richardson; and his sister, Judith Brown.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The Kilmarnock – Lancaster County Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 333, Kilmarnock, VA 22482; or the Animal Welfare League, P.O. Box 975, White Stone, VA 22578.
