Elbourn resigns from White Stone council

The White Stone Town Council on Thursday, January 3, accepted the resignation of Paul Elbourn, marking the second resignation of a council member in the past three months.

His resignation was effective January 3. Elbourn has moved outside of town limits, according to his letter. However, he still maintains a business in White Stone.

In November, council member Drew Hubbard also resigned after moving. Kathryn S. Roop was appointed in December to fill Hubbard’s seat until a special election can be scheduled. Roop’s first official meeting on council was last Thursday.
