Lancaster County Circuit Court Report

LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, October 1, with the Hon. Michael McKenney presiding.

Phillip E. Dean of White Stone, charged with two felonies for violating probation; two felonies for failing to comply with pre-trial release conditions; two felonies for homicide; and two felonies for distributing a Schedule I/II substance, third-plus offense; was denied bond and a trial was scheduled for January 20 and 21, 2022.

In the case of Ronald E. Holmes Jr. of Lancaster, charged with a felony for rape and a felony for sodomy by force; a trial is to be set October 15.

Telece D. Coleman of Lancaster, charged with four felonies for selling cocaine, pleaded guilty to one count and was sentenced to 10 years with nine years and one month suspended and 10 years of probation to begin upon release. Coleman also was ordered to pay $585 in court costs and $700 in restitution. The remaining three charges were nolle prossed.

In the case of James W. Doak of Pasadena, Md., charged with two felonies for probation violations, a hearing was set for April 8, 2022.
