LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, May 27, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of Daryl C. Mitchell of Lancaster, charged with two felonies for probation violations, a show cause hearing was scheduled for July 22.
In the case of Delvin Thornton of Chesapeake, charged with two felonies for probation violations, a trial is scheduled for August 19.
A bond hearing for John A. Jones Jr. of Lancaster was continued to June 17. Jones is appealing a General District Court bond decision.
In the case of James M. Veney of Newport News, charged with a felony for a probation violation, a drug court hearing was scheduled for June 17.
In the case of Tremaine T. Doublin of Burgess, who previously pleaded guilty in May 2021, to possession of a Schedule I/II substance, the deferred disposition was terminated and the charge was dismissed.
