LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, February 23, with the Hon. William H. Shaw presiding.
In the case of Curvin D. Roy Jr. of Kilmarnock, charged with a felony for malicious assault, an arraignment was continued and a status hearing scheduled for March 1.
In the case of Michael A. Yarka, no address given, charged with felonies for grand larceny, possessing stolen property and entering a structure to commit assault and battery, bond was withdrawn. A trial remains scheduled for March 22.
In the case of Katherine Turner of White Stone, charged with a felony for assault on a law enforcement officer, a capias was issued when Turner failed to show for a status hearing. She was charged with an additional felony for failing to appear. No additional hearings were set.
