The Oktoberfest Festival, presented annually by the White Stone Business Association and the White Stone Volunteer Fire Department (WSVFD), will be held Saturday, October 28. The festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the WSVFD grounds, 578 Chesapeake Drive, White Stone.
This year’s festival will feature over 30 vendors, arts and crafts, a classic car show, a chili cook off competition, the White Stone Woman’s Club bake sale, music, dancing and a 50/50 raffle, reported organizer Jeff Cherry.
“Bring the kids for this family fun event,” said Cherry. “We will have a Halloween costume contest, candy for kids, Halloween picture board and face painting.”
Among the new features are a German band and dance group that perform throughout the East Coast at Oktoberfest festivals, he said. The ACCA Temple Sauerkraut German Band and the Hirschjager Bavarian Dancers will perform.
