Lancaster High School wrestlers went 2-3 in team competition and produced one unbeaten gold medalist in the Franklin Duals last Saturday.
The Red Devils beat Norfolk Collegiate 51-12 and Windsor, 48-18, but lost to Parry McCluer (51-30), Mathews (54-21) and King William (48-34).
AP Pollard went 5-0 at 175 pounds to win that weight class.
“AP continues to show major improvement from last year and beat opponents with his solid, neutral wrestling,” said LHS coach Craig Oren.
Lancaster had several silver medalists as Trevor Sebra (126), Ashby Russell (132), Hunter Sebra (150) and DJ Zeiler (144) all went 4-1 on the day.
