Pre-qualifying stats and personal bests mark LHS indoor track performance

Lancaster’s indoor boys track team has now state-qualified in 11 of 15 events following last weekend’s performances at the Hampton Atlantic Coast Invitational.

Jeremia Laws and Matthew Kane added Class 1/2 state pre-qualifying times to Lancaster’s list last weekend with Laws running a personal best time of 38.74 in the 300 meter and Kane setting a new LHS indoor track record in the mile with a time of 4:47.

Laws just missed by an inch a state qualifying jump in the long jump at 19’3”. He also turned in a personal best time of 6.87 in the 55 meter. 

Reese Rhodes was the runner-up in the shot put, 50’3.25”.
