
Lancaster ramped up the offensive pressure in the second half against Rappahannock but the comeback attempt fell short as the Raiders prevailed, 4-2, in a varsity soccer match on April 17.
“We literally kept the ball in their defensive half of the field 36 of the 40 minutes in the second half,” said LHS coach Rob Pittman. “If we’d played with that intensity in the first half, it would have been a different [outcome].”
