Patrick McCranie recently announced his bid for re-election as Lancaster County Sheriff in the November 2019 General Election.
Sheriff McCranie’s campaign motto to his constituents in his first term as sheriff was “Experience, Community, Courtesy and Service.” He ran his first campaign on the fact that he would be a visible and working sheriff. He made promises to the community that have been upheld, said McCranie.
He also promised a multi-jurisdictional drug task force which partnered with the Virginia State Police and Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
