The Drifters sink Red Devils, 4-2; Lancaster shuts out Arcadia, 11-0 

Colonial Beach scored the go-ahead run on an error in the bottom of the sixth inning on April 18 to hand Lancaster its third loss in Northern Neck District varsity baseball.

Gary Tompkins went six innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out 11, to get the win 4-2 for the Drifters.

Ben Pittman got the start on the mound for Lancaster. He gave up six hits and retired six at the plate in five innings. Josh Woolard pitched one inning of relief with two strikeouts. 

Lancaster scored two runs in its first at bat….
