Historic Christ Church & Museum, 420 Christ Church Road, Weems, will hold its fifth annual Raise the Roof Craft Beer Fest from 1 to 6 p.m. July 14.
Held on the grounds near the 1735 Christ Church, the event features music, a dozen Virginia craft beers and ciders, wine, barbecue, vegetarian fare and homemade ice cream.
The jazz-swing band Good Shot Judy and the Bobby “Blackhat” Walters blues band return to entertain the crowd and get everyone dancing, said education director and curator Robert Teagle.
Guests can enjoy a selection of 12 mouthwatering craft beers and ciders. From IPAs and porters to lighter summer ales and pilsners, the festival features some of the finest craft beers from Virginia breweries…
